Broos confirms unavailability of three players for Guinea | African News

Strikers Bongokuhle Hlongwane, Fragile Lakay and midfielder Goodman Mosele will not be available when Bafana Bafana take on Guinea at Guldensporen Stadium, Belgium on Friday night.

Hlongwane and Lakay are only expected to join the rest of their teammates on Friday, the day of the match, while Mosele has picked up a knock against JS Saoura on Sunday.

Broos has since revealed that both Hlongwane and Lakay will definitely feature in the France match.

“Bongokuhle Hlongwane and Fragile Lakay had some problems with visas and will be here tomorrow (Friday) morning. But as my plans were before, those are two guys who will be playing next Tuesday against France so I didn’t count on them for the game against Guinea,”

Broos has also revealed that Pirates midfielder Mosele will return for training on Saturday.

“Mosele came with an injury from the Pirates game last Sunday, his ankle, but there will be no problem for Saturday he will be back at training. So we don’t need to take risks with him to let him play tomorrow. He is still feeling pain for tomorrow but for Saturday and next Tuesday he will be ready with no problem.”

The match against Guinea will kick off at 19:00.
