Blom – Everyone Is Not Happy

Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Njabulo Blom admits it’s not a happy camp after ‘giving’ the game away against Chippa United in their last DStv Premiership clash.

Chiefs were leading 1-0 at halftime at Moses Mabhida Stadium after Siyabonga Ngezana rose highest with a towering header but Morgan Mammila’s side fought back valiantly.

Siphelele Luthuli and a late own goal from Edmilson Dove was the sucker punch as Chiefs went from leading the table, to being separated by three points from seventh-placed Chippa in the space of 45 minutes.

“We missed our chances, we conceded… we gave them easy goals and I think we… we’re not happy as team, we’re not happy we lost that game,” Blom said.

“We had it in our hands, obviously we were leading in the first half. And we conceded an easy goal, we gave them easy goals and we missed our chances.

“So I think we’re not happy, everyone is not happy on how the final result came because we were leading and gave the game away.”

Amakhosi will be looking to get back to winning ways when they host TS Galaxy on Wednesday evening at FNB Stadium (19h30).
