Black Leopards officially unveiled their squad, technical team and new kit for the 2022/23 Motsepe Foundation Championships during a Gala Dinner held in Malamulele on Wednesday evening.
Lidoda Duvha will spend another season in the first division after failing to gain promotion last season. Malamulele, which falls under the Collins Chabane Municipality, has also become the new home for the club.
The event was attended by, amongst others, Collins Chabane Municipality Mayor Cllr Shadrack Maluleke, traditional leaders and community members.
Black Leopards new signings:
Kabelo Phasha (Ditlou FC)
Ndamulelo Radzilani (Masakona Young Tigers)
Bethuel Muzeu (Tura Magic, Namibia)
Wanga “Messi” Khorommbi (United Artists)
Thapelo Maleka (Uthongathi)
Mashudu Makhuvha (Blackpool FC)
Leope Lephalala (Baroka FC)
Vusi Mkwanazi (Swallows FC)
Evans Forane (Letlhabile United)
Toporo Motsuku (Vondwe X1 Bullets)
Joel Masutha will continue as Black Leopards coach with Morgan Shivambu as his assistant coach, while Sam Banda will continue as goalkeeper coach.
Leopards Chairman David Thidiela also paid tribute to the late Mayor of Collins Chabane Moses ‘Big Moss’ Maluleke. Malukele, who tragically passed on last month, was instrumental in seeing Leopards relocate from Thohoyandou Stadium to Malamulele.
The Malamulele stadium, which has a 15 000 capacity, was officially handed to the club on Friday by the Municipality officials. This comes after the league gave the facility a green light to host Premier Soccer League matches.
