Benni McCarthy has sent Pitso Mosimane a message after the latter was appointed as new head coach of Al Ahli SC in Saudi Arabia.
Mosimane, 58, joined the Saudi Arabian giants, who are one of the oldest clubs in Saudi Arabia but have dropped to the second division for the first time in the club’s history.
On Sunday morning, Mosimane was confirmed as the club’s new head coach, while in the evening, Al-Ahli confirmed the South African tactician will bring his three closest technical team members Kabelo Rangoaga, Musi Matlaba and Kyle Solomon along.
McCarthy, who himself works as first team coach at Premier League giants Manchester United, but has shared the sidelines with Mosimane during their time in South Africa, has congratulated his coaching colleague on his new job.

“Massive Congratulations Big Man. Wishing you all the very best, not that you need it because you a born winner,” McCarthy wrote on social media.
“All the success to you and your family on this new journey and make South Africa proud like you’ve done always.
“Blessings.”
McCarthy and Mosimane faced each other eight times with Cape Town City and Mamelodi Sundowns and the former has beaten the latter four times, while Mosimane won three clashes and one ended in a draw.
