Baxter Set For Shock Next Move?

Former Kaizer Chiefs head coach Stuart Baxter looks set for a swift return to the dugout with talks at Simba Sports Club reportedly underway.

Baxter was relieved of his duties in his second stint at the club back in April after a defeat to SuperSport United which saw the fans call for his exit.

While Arthur Zwane took over as interim coach with Dillon Sheppard, the duo have since been confirmed as the permanent leaders on three-year deals.

And now it seems as Baxter may be back into management with Clouds Media Tanzania reporting Simba CEO Barbara Gonzalez met the two-time DStv Premiership winner and his agent in Johannesburg this week over succeeding Pablo Franco Martin.

According to the report, talks are already in an advanced stage with the club, but the only issue has been wage demands presently, which they are likely to reach an agreement for.

It remains to be seen whether the two parties agree terms with the Liga Kuu Bara giants linked with several coaches across the continent since the Spaniard was sacked.
