Banyana Banyana have named their starting line-up for tonight’s WAFCON 2022 Final against Morocco.
Both teams are still unbeaten in the tournament, heading into the final having never won this trophy. However, while it is the host’s first ever final, it is Banyana’s sixth continental final.
Banyana beat Nigeria, Botswana and Burundi to reach the knockout rounds, Morocco’s three group victories came against Burkina Faso, Uganda and Senegal.

Morocco ended Botswana’s run in the last eight, before booking their place in the final with a penalty shootout win against a nine-player Nigeria.
Banyana overcame Tunisia in the quarter-finals, before beating Zambia in the semis, winning all their fixtures in 90 minutes.
CAF Women’s Coach of the Year Desiree Ellis has made three changes to the team that beat Zambia in the semi-finals, bringing in Lebo Ramalepe, Nomvula Kgoale and Hildah Magaia for Bongeka Gamede, Thalea Smidt and Melinda Kgadiete. Reynald Pedros made one change with Imane Saoud returning to the line-up after not starting against Nigeria.
The final kicks off at 10pm South African time at Stade Prince Moulay Abdallah in Rabat.
