Comoros have named their starting line-up for today’s CHAN qualifier first leg away against Bafana Bafana
Bafana had to hastily put a squad together for coach Helman Mkhalele after clubs recalled many players after the Cosafa Cup. Mkhalele had hoped to use many of the players who had competed in Durban last week for this fixture.
Unfortunately, the squad wasn’t released to the media this week, so it was unclear who the XI who would be representing the country would be.
Last month SAFA CEO Tebogo Motlanthe had said the squad for CHAN would be selected from the ABC Motsepe Playoffs, however, that plan seems to have been shelved.
The second leg will be played in South Africa next week.
