Kaizer Chiefs are gearing themselves up for back-to-back Soweto Derbies.
Amakhosi will welcome Swallows FC for a DStv Premiership Soweto Derby as a prelude to the big Nedbank Cup Soweto Derby against Orlando Pirates next Saturday.

Both Chiefs and Swallows were victorious in their league matches on Freedom Day, beating Chippa United and Maritzburg United, respectively. Both Soweto teams scored 1-0 wins to claim all three points against the Chilli Boys and the Team of Choice.
Swallows are desperate for points and will come at Chiefs with everything
Those three points against Maritzburg helped ease Swallows’ relegation worries but they still need more points to secure their Premiership status for next season.
Chiefs’ victory, on the other hand, boosted their chances of clinching a CAF Champions League spot but from now on, they need nothing but wins to stand a chance
Chiefs were 2-1 winners when they beat Swallows in the first round of the league in October at the Dube Birds’ Dobsonville Stadium headquarters.
Coach Arthur Zwane has cautioned against focusing on next week’s Soweto Derby as he called on the players to fully focus on the game that takes place on Monday against the Birds.

No new injuries or recoveries have been reported, meaning Chiefs will still be without Keagan Dolly, who picked up an injury in Polokwane last week.

“He signalled to us that he’s got a problem with his knee,” Zwane said when touching on the substitution of Dolly midway through the second half, as quoted by iDiski Times. “We’ll wait for the medical team for the report, then we’ll take it from there.”
