AmaZulu end Champions League campaign with draw | African News

AmaZulu ended their Caf Champions League Group B campaign with a 1-1 draw against Horoya AC at the Stade Général Lansana Conté, Nongo on Friday in Guinea.

The Guineans side took the lead on the stroke of halftime, thanks to an impressive finish from the edge of the box by Dramane Nikiema.

However, it didn’t take long for Usuthu to hit back as Thabo Qalinge’s attempted cross was deflected by Salif Coulibaly header into the net for an own goal.

The draw means the KwaZulu-Natal outfit finish their maiden Champions League season in third place.
