Al Ahly have confirmed that Bafana Bafana winger Percy Tau has finally returned to team training, handing the Club of the Century a welcome boost.
The Egyptian giants have lost both their last games, being beaten by Pyramids in the league and Zamalek in the Egyptian Cup final.
Tau, 29, has been absent from the Ahly squad for the last month after suffering an injury in his quadriceps last month.
Of the seven games that the South African missed, Al Ahly only won three, losing as many and picking up one draw, putting pressure on Pitso Mosimane successor Ricardo Soares.
However, Soares and Ahly now received a much welcome boost, with Tau and Luis Miquissone back in team training.

“While, the rest of our players performed several fitness and tactical drills at El Tetsh. The team’s session saw the participation of Luis Miquissone and Percy Tau in part of the session.”
