Al Ahly have provided an update on Percy Tau and Luis Miquissone who have been out of contention in recent weeks.
Both players who were signed by former head coach Pitso Mosimane have come under the spotlight after being ruled out through injury.
Having not made the impact many Ahly fans expected, their futures have become increasingly uncertain under new coach Ricardo Soares.
While they both remain part of the first-team squad with the 2021/22 season still running for the Egyptian giants, who are in the hunt for the Egypt Cup and League title, the Red Devils have confirmed both players have entered a new phase in their rehabilitation programs.

Along with defender Yasser Ibrahim, the trio started light running sessions at the El Tetsh Stadium with the squad preparing for their league outing against Future FC on Tuesday.
Tau and the Egypt international centre-back are recovering from quadriceps muscle injuries while the Mozambique winger suffered a ligament blow to his knee.
While there’s been no time frame for their first-team return, all three are expected to be fully fit before the end of the current campaign.
