Some sources have it that he called it quits after they failed to find common ground on salaries.
In the wake of all these daring allegations, the seasoned actor rubbished the rumours and distanced himself from the allegations. Well, it seems as if he has Uzalo and Bonga Dlamini have kissed up and made up. Confirmed reports have it that the seasoned actor will be heading back KwaMashu for a second life on the drama series after his disastrous exit in 2016.
Yes, six years after his controversial exit, Dlamini will return to the drama series with his on-screen character of Mkhonto. Reports have it that his storyline will revolve around Nosipho’s storyline. Of interest is that his return is slated for October at the same time as Gugu Gumeni, who stars as MaMlambo return.
“He will start appearing later in October. He won’t be happy that Nosipho is pregnant and he’ll cause drama about it. He won’t stay long on the show but his presence will be felt,” said an insider.
We can all agree that we can’t wait for drama capped with thrills. However, it seems as if his second stint on the most watched drama series in Mzansi won’t be long as we all thought. The drama series has seemingly revealed that he won’t be around for long, but his presence will have a lasting effect.
In some of his interviews, he has often opened up about his short-term contracts and how they take a toe on his illustrious career. Speaking to the Drum, the bubbly actor has it that:
“I’ve done quite a few acting gigs and it’s been a challenge to keep jumping from one job to another. I think I should be granted the privilege of getting a job and staying there for a long time – not just for me, but for the storyline and the viewers. It pains me that I have to come to this decision but I don’t act for fame, I went to school for it,” he told the publication.
However, it seems as if the showrunners are pulling some of their magic tricks to revive their storyline, which has seen them trending for the wrong reasons. Their plot has since seen the drama series having a decline in viewers.
