South Africa’s sole survivors in the CAF Champions League, Mamelodi Sundowns, have found out which teams they have been drawn alongside in the group stages after Friday’s draw.
The DStv Premiership champions reached the group stages after beating Bumamuru from Burundi 6-0 on aggregate.
Unfortunately, Orlando Pirates did not reach the group stages, after losing in a penalty shootout to Botswana’s Jwaneng Galaxy. The tie had finished 1-1 on aggregate.
Rulani Mokwena’s team, who are currently preparing to play in Saturday’s MTN8 Final, will face Pyramids, TP Mazembe and Nouadhibou in Group A.
