Cape Town City winger Drammeh Kajally is set to complete a season-long loan move to Egyptian side Future.

Kajally, 19, joined City at the beginning of 2022/23 season after he had an impressive U19 African Cup Of Nations with Gambia in Mauritania.

The former Real de Banjul player was one of the standout performers at the tournament and helped his nation to reach the knockout phase where they got eliminated by Tunisia before finishing third in the continental tournament.

The Gambian international made 20 appearances in the colours of City, including two in the CAF Champions League, and scored one goal.

iDiski Times understands that Kajally has already left Citizens and is on his way to Egyptian side Future on a season long loan, but he is expected to return back to City next season.

His jersey no.7 has already been given to Thabiso Kutumela after he joined on loan from Mamelodi Sundowns.

Future finished the 2022/23 season in fourth position and will feature in the CAF Confederation Cup, where they will face Ernst Middendorp’s new side Singida Fountain Gate FC in the second preliminary round.
