HOW MUCH TO REFUEL A VW POLO VIVO
The sad result for embattled motorists is that 95 octane petrol prices are once again touching the scary R24 per litre mark at the coast, and exceeding it inland (R24.54). Therefore, a new 1.0 TSI VW Polo with a 44 litre tank will cost R1 079 to refuel inland and R1 048 at the coast.

According to the VW Polo’s claimed/combined fuel consumption, you can travel 675 km per tank on average. That equates to R1.50 per kilometre travelled. If you own SA’s most popular passenger car, a VW 1.4 Polo Vivo, this comes with a 45 litre tank. Which will cost R1 104 to refill at inland and R1 071 at the coast. You can travel 633 km per tank in a Polo Vivo and this will now cost you a whopping R1.74 per kilometre.
