Ex-Chiefs Talent Thibedi Resurfaces At New Club

Former Kaizer Chiefs and Swallows midfielder Given Thibedi has resurfaced in the Motsepe Foundation Championship with Casric FC.
The 25-year-old parted ways with Swallows earlier this season after injuries curtailed his development at the club leaving him behind the pecking order at the cash-strapped side.
He sought his clearance in order to get regular first-team football and Casric have now snapped him up as they look to push for DStv Premiership promotion.
Well short of match fitness, he made his debut earlier last month, with the club yet to confirm his signing – and he was named on the bench in their 2-0 defeat to Cape Town Spurs on Friday afternoon.

He joins a host of Chiefs development products at the club, with Kgotso Malope, Rahim Milazi and Keletso Sifama on the books – with the latter on loan from Amakhosi.
It comes as no surprise to see the Chiefs talents being afforded chances at Casric with the club’s Technical Director Sundra Govinder, being the former Head of Development at the Soweto giants.
