The DStv Premiership giants have confirmed that it has initiated an immediate investigation into alleged remarks made by one of its employees.

Khaled Ali, who serves as the team travel logistics and liaison officer is in hot water regarding the remarks he made on social media.

It is alleged that Ali told Al Ahly fans that he is ready to pass all the data, analysis and information that Sundowns has about Al Hilal to help them defeat Al Hilal in their CAF Champions League clash.

According to the club’s official statement, the remarks made by their employee, Ali, during a social media discussion regarding Al Ahly and Al Hilal game “may be contrary to the ethics, governance and rules of Mamelodi Sundowns.”
