Tau To Meet Real Madrid At Club World Cup

Percy Tau and Al Ahly will meet Real Madrid at the FIFA Club World Cup, while CAF Champions League winners Wydad Athletic Club were knocked out.
The South African winger started the game against CONCACAF representatives Seattle Sounders after scoring off the bench in the first round clash with Auckland City.
Al Ahly found a late winner through Mohamed Magdy Afsha in the 88th minute to set up a semi-final against UEFA Champions League winners Real Madrid.
Tau featured 93 minutes before being substituted and will now be in line to face Los Blancos for a third time in his career after already playing them twice in the 2019/20 Champions League group stage with Club Brugge.
In the earlier game, CAF Champions League winner Wydad Athletic Club were knocked out by Asian representatives Al Hilal.
The hosts of the tournament were backed by a packed in Rabat, Morocco and went ahead through Ayoub El Amloud in the 52nd minute.
However, they conceded a 93rd minute equaliser by Mohamed Kanno from the penalty spot and eventually lost 5-3 on penalties after the game stayed 1-1 in extra-time.
Al Hilal will now face Copa Libertadores winners Flamengo in the second semi-final.
