Orlando Pirates have confirmed Thembinkosi Lorch is expected to return to training at the end of January.
Lorch has been on the sidelines since suffering a knee injury against SuperSport United in August and will be unavailable alongside Nigeria international Olisa Ndah – who is also touted to return to the fold at the end of next month.
Ghana international goalkeeper Richard Ofori is still recovering from the knee injury that saw him miss the 2022 FIFA World Cup, the club also confirmed.
Captain Innocent Maela and Nkosinathi Sibisi are both in full training but no confirmation has been provided of whether they are match fit to face Mamelodi Sundowns on Friday.
