In-form South African winger Kobamelo Kodisang has made “good progress” on his recovery from injury, his agent Mike Makaab told iDiski Times.
The 23-year-old was linked with a move to Kaizer Chiefs ahead of the 2022/23 season but the Amakhosi couldn’t come to terms with Kodisang’s mother club Braga.
Instead, the former South African youth international joined Moreirense in Portugal’s second tier on loan and hasn’t looked back since.
He has scored eight goals and set up three more in 19 appearances for Moreirense, helping his side to sit comfortably at the top of the log.
However, he recently picked up a knee injury in training that will rule him out for a few weeks. Makaab, though, told iDiski Times that Kodisang’s injury is not too serious and he will be back in action in the new year.
“Nothing serious, his rehab has gone very well and we hope to see him back in action early in the new year,” he told this publication.
Kodisang’s fine form saw him being named the Player of the Month August/September in the Liga Sebseg.
