Mabena Break His Silence On Leaving Royal AM

New Orlando Pirates signing Ndumiso Mabena has broken his silence about his Royal AM exit.

The 35-year-old recently joined the 2022 MTN8 winners after a long dragged-out saga between him and his previous club Thwihli Thwahla.

The former Bloemfontein Celtic player is not new at Pirates, as he was part of the team between 2009 and 2014, scoring seven goals in 53 appearances.

Speaking about his Royal AM exit, he explained that he had to stay without getting any salary and felt like this matter was not dealt with in a professional manner.

“Everything that happens, happens for a reason. It didn’t happen in a good way though, not professionally.” Mabena told MetroFM.

“It was not professionally done. I think that’s when the fighting started and I had to win all the cases.

“With all those days without payment it was not well.

“So I went through it and I succeeded at the end of the day. Here I am today working for black and white again.”
