The deadline for President Cyril Ramaphosa‘s submissions into the Phala Phala saga is inching closer. His spokesperson, Vincent Magwenya, says the president will respond on time.
The date for Ramaphosa’s submissions to the Parliamentary panel is on Sunday. The panel has been tasked with determining whether or not the president has a case to answer.
In October, MPs were given six days to submit information relevant to the allegations. Ramaphosa was then given ten days to respond. That deadline ends on 6 November.
The African Transformation Movement party submitted a motion against him to jump-start an inquiry into his removal for misconduct and violating the Constitution.
