R99m PowerBall winner comes forward to claim his winning

The lucky Pretoria man who bagged last week’s R99 million PowerBall jackpot has come forward to claim his winnings from the from Tuesday, 19 July 2022.

He entered through the FNB App with a wager of R150 and selected his own numbers.

The man who works in the finance industry says he has no plans to quit his job despite winning the jackpot.

“I have no plans to make big changes to my life style, everything will still be normal , perhaps i might just buy a car and a house only.

“I do plan on paying off debt and investing the rest of the winner,” said the winner.

After finding out that he had won he was extremely happy.

“I was excited, extremely happy. I have been playing lottery games since my days in university, so it has been many years and this is the first time I won any jackpot.”

He said people need to understand that the odds of winning the lottery “are very high, you will never known when it will be your turn to win, now I know everything is possible.”
