Dupped as the prime Brenda Fassie of our time, Makhadzi has been winning big of late. She took the entertainment stage with surprise and had been flying the South African flag high in Africa and the world. A few months ago, she topped the trends after scooping her 13th platinum plaque. Apart from the plaques, she has been making all sorts of headlines with her smash hits. A true African Queen indeed.

Today, Mzansi’s social media was set ablaze as Makhadzi turned 26. Yes, the multi-award-winning musician was born on 30 June 1996  in Ha-Mashamba, Limpopo.

Born Ndivhudzannyi Ralivhona, Makhadzi is a celebrated South African singer. Her debut album was released in 2012. Despite having several tracks in  her name, she was thrust into the limelight with her smash hits “Tshanda Vhuya” and “Matorokisi.” Before her thrust into the stardom, Makhadzi used to perform at Taxi ranks.

The bubbly musician born in Limpopo has rags to riches story to tell. However, it is shocking that she is just 26 years old to many. At the age of 26, she rewrote the music industry’s history. She hogged headlines when she outclassed the likes of the African Giant Burna Boy and Fally Ipupa to walk away with the precious AFRIMA award. She is currently signed under Open Mic Productions. Her huge following and influence have undoubtedly seen her securing several endorsement deals that have fattened her pockets. She currently collaborates with Bathu sneakers and has her sneaker line with them.

Apart from that, she also has her line of cosmetics and body lotions. She joins a host of celebrities like Connie Ferguson and Zodwa Wabantu, who have their cosmetic lines and lotions named after them. Rumour mill has it that she has an estimated net worth of R40 million as of 2022.

Makhadzi stunned Mzansi when she revealed that she bought her lavish mansion in cash. However, in the mix of things, she also blessed her mother with a lavish mansion in the heart of rural Limpopo.
