Mamelodi Sundowns have confirmed that they have parted ways with George Maluleka.
The 33-year-old leaves the club after two years where niggling injuries and initially arriving out of shape limited him to just 19 appearances for the Brazilians.
While he was part of two DStv Premiership winning squads, which included the domestic treble this season, the club have opted to release him and not activate their one-year option in his contract after initially signing a two-year deal with an option to extend.
Sundowns have now announced the news, which were already confirmed by his agent Sean Roberts to iDiski Times earlier in the day.

Maluleka only made 19 appearances since joining Masandawana from Kaizer Chiefs in 2020, scoring once and assisting four more.
