Check: Bonang’s look-alike who is 59 years old

After a viral photo of Bonang Matheba that has found its way onto social media streets, tweeps have dragged and body-shamed the media personality comparing her to former South Africa’s Public Protector Thuli Madonsela.

Thulisile “Thuli” Madonsela is a South African advocate and professor of law.

She has served as the Public Protector of South Africa from 19 October 2009 to 14 October 2016.

Professor Thuli Madonsela helped draft the final constitution of South Africa promulgated by then-President Nelson Mandela in 1996.

She was born on 28 September 1962.

Twitter was up in smoke after Mihlali posted an unflattering and unfiltered picture of her friend, Bonang.

Judging from the picture, some social media users alluded that Bonang looks older than her age.

YouTuber Slik Talk has also weighed in on the issue, dragging Bonang for her looks.

Why is Bonang looking like a second hand 2005 Toyota Corolla? Bonang is 35-years-old, but she’s not that old to a point where makeup does nothing to her face. She is looking crazy in this picture. And what’s worse is the person who posted the picture was Mihlali, somebody who’s her so-called friend. Somebody who admires Bonang. That’s what she says.

Bonang is looking crusty. She’s looking old, she’s looking beat down and battered. She looks like she’s been through life and she is tired and wants to give it all up and end it all. What’s crazy is these people call each other friends, but they do each other like this.

Mihlali is a social media queen. Aesthetics is what she is all about. She would never post something that’s a mistake. She did it on purpose because she was trying to prove a point that she’s the new chick and Bonang’s time is up.
