TWIST: A second docket implicates Kelly Khumalo and the people who were in the house

The Senzo Meyiwa murder trial has taken another twits which has led to the defence requesting for postponed until Monday.

Longwe Twala, Kelly Khumalo, Gladness Khumalo, Zandile Khumalo, Tumelo Madlala, Mthokozisi Twala and Maggie Phiri are named in a document from DPP of South Gauteng high court that says they should be charged with murder of Senzo Meyiwa.

Defence lawyer Zandile Mshololo claims her client was prejudiced after a document from the High Court in Johannesburg calls for all the people who were in the house to be charged with Meyiwa’s murder.

“The fact that this document wasn’t disclosed means my client could not adequately prepare his defense, this is a 2nd violation, I previously had to ask for a postponement because of late disclosure, accused 5 has been prejudice” said Adv Mshololo.
