A highly-rated youngster has finally sorted out his South African paperwork.

Pretoria-born midfielder Kgaogelo Chauke recently visited his country of birth for a holiday following a successful season with Southampton’s reserve side.

Chauke, who captains The Saints’ reserve side, left South Africa at a very young age with his parents who had moved to the United Kingdom after getting employment opportunities abroad.

He featured in 20 English Premier League 2 games last season while also regularly training with the first team under the watchful eye of coach Ralph Hasenhuttl.

FARPost can confirm that while he was in his homeland, the 19-year-old also took time to sort out his pending South African passport since he had not been in the country in recent years.

He also holds a British passport which gives him dual citizenship.
