Mozambican citizens were arrested last night after they were caught stealing maize at a farm in Olifantsfontein in the East of Joburg.

They were loading bulks using 2 bakkies and 1 minibus taxi. According to farm owner one full bantam sells for R4,500.

The criminality has been happening since Wednesday last week when the farm workers and community were sleeping.

Last night the community had heard enough of the ongoing thief, they hid in farm waiting and the suspects arrived and continued with their routine.

The criminal have confessed to loading at least 8 bakkies since they started their operation. The farm owner was able to identified one of the suspects, whom he claims once came to buy from him.
