Cameroon have appointed the former Indomitable Lions captain Rigobert Song as the new head coach of the national team.
The 45-year-old mentor replaces Antonio Conceicao who guided Cameroon to third place at the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations (Afcon) last month.
Song will be assisted by the former Marumo Gallants coach Sebastien Migne.
Meanwhile, former teammate Raymond Kalla will take over as team manager.
Internationally, Song played at a record eight Afcon tournaments and served as a captain in five, and he has won two Afcon titles in 2000 and 2002.
He also holds a record for most consecutive games played in the tournament with 35 first-team games.
