South African actress Rami Chuene defended Nimrod Nkosi against trolls after his leaked voice note about career frustrations went viral.

Blogger and podcaster Phil Mphela posted the voice note on May 1, which sparked a widespread discussion about loyalty within Nimrod’s close circle.

NIMROD NKOSI’S VIRAL VOICE NOTE IGNITES CONCERN

Nimrod is heard being vulnerable in what appears to be a leaked voice note. He expresses his frustration with the state of his career, which spans nearly two decades. He also says he’s considering settling for a 9-5 job that at least offers some security.

“My brother, how are you? I’ve been trying to get a hold of you. I thought I should send you a vn (voice note.) I’m not in a good space right now I just don’t know what to do right now,” he began.

“I’m struggling to process everything. Almost twenty years I’ve given my work, my talents to this industry and to this career,” he continued.

“Now I’m losing it all. I thought I should confess that to you, at least so that I have someone who can support me as a man. I’ve been keeping quiet about it,” said the actor who plays Pearl Modiadie’s father in Love, Law and Betrayal,

Something big is brewing. A cryptic voicenote has been shared about Nimrod Nkosi looking for a new job.

On the voicenote Nimrod bemoans that after 20 years in the industry, he is contemplating taking a different direction.

RAMI CHUENE: ‘NIMROD WORKS LIKE CRAZY’

@BoityBell on X (formerly Twitter) criticised Nimrod for not fully diversifying his streams of income, especially after being in the industry for so long.

Rami, who is also an author, defended her colleague, stating that Nimrod “works like crazy” and a big part of his work is actually off-screen. As a result, there is no way he is struggling to stay afloat.

On the other hand, Rami swiftly hopped into the comments section, suspecting that it could be a prank and that Phil, the blogger who originally posted the voice note, might be in on it since his brand of reporting shies away from celebrity slander.

“I know a promo prank when I see one. Also, @PhilMphela would never do something like this to bring another person down, especially in our industry,” she wrote.

” [I] can’t wait to see what is actually brewing. It might have gone sideways a bit, but it definitely got us talking. Phil’s job is done here,” she added.

SOUTH AFRICANS ARE NOT IMPREESSED

Nimrod’s voice note took social media by storm, leaving people disappointed at the person who betrayed him by leaking such a vulnerable moment to the public.
