‘North West’s nails, hand piercing too grown-up for her’: critics

12-year-old North West is in the news again for her out-of-the-box fashion sense and the freedom her parents are giving her to express it.

North is the oldest of Kim Kardashian and rapper Kanye West’s four children, and is followed by Saint, Chicago, and Psalm.

She has always been the most expressive of the four, whether is calling her mother out, or in how she portrays herself.

For a while, she has been wearing colourful hair, a fun choice few have faulted, but many are now commenting on how quickly she is growing, given that she is only 12 years old.

The pre-teen already has over 2.5 million followers on Instagram, despite only having nine posts on her page.

A few weeks ago, she posted a photo of herself with hand piercings on Instagram, and many in her comments criticised her parents for letting her seemingly go too far with her artistic expression.

Thus far, neither one of her famous parents has responded to the criticism,
