Manchester United have released a statement in response to Cristiano Ronaldo’s bombshell interview, during which he claimed he feels “betrayed” and “forced out” of the club.
On Sunday evening, Piers Morgan published parts of a 90-minute interview with Ronaldo, where he dropped several jabs against his current club as well as coach Erik Ten Hag.
Amid rumours, United have fined Ronaldo €1 million, the club released a brief statement on the interview on Monday, saying they will only full respond “once they’ve established all facts”.
