In what many described as an “open letter”, Letoya poured out her emotions, reflecting on her journey as a mother and the powerful bond she shares with her daughter.

She described Nubia as a “queen in the making,” applauding her intelligence, strength and compassion. The proud mother also highlighted her daughter’s courage and willingness to stand up for others—qualities she says continue to inspire her daily.

Letoya revealed that, despite being the parent, she has often found herself learning from Nubia’s resilience and passion.

Beyond the celebration, the tribute offered a rare glimpse into the pair’s personal journey—one marked by challenges, growth and healing.

In a particularly vulnerable moment, Letoya thanked her daughter for forgiveness and love, hinting at past struggles they have overcome together. She credited Nubia with giving her a “second chance” at motherhood, a statement that resonated deeply with followers.

The actress also reflected on her own life at 20, revealing that she was already married and expecting a child at the same age. While she expressed no regrets about her journey, Letoya shared pride in Nubia’s decision to forge her own path and prioritise herself, highlighting a generational shift in how young women approach life and independence.

Instagram users weighed in:

“She’s such a beautiful girl, she used to give me sweet little hugs when she was a baby. She was so full of love. May God greatly, abundantly and perfectly bless Nubia,” said one user.

Another one said: “One thing about you, you have beautiful children. Your daughter is so.”

While another one added: “Nubia speaks with wisdom, carries herself with maturity, and loves you deeply so much so that she only wants the very best for you.”
