KZN Inyanga Hires Inkabi to Kill Mother and Daughter After Failing to Double Their Money

In an unexpected development, an inyanga hired four of KwaZulu-Natal’s most wanted criminals to kill a mother and her daughter after failing to deliver on his promise to double their money.

In a case of instant justice, the four hitmen were killed during a shootout with the police in Inanda outside Durban over the weekend when they were intercepted after they had completed their sinister mission.

Thankfully, the inyanga was arrested and now faces charges of conspiracy to commit murder as well as the double murder itself.

The inyanga enlisted the services of the four hitmen to kill Patricia Jeza and her daughter, Jezelihle Jeza, whom he owed R200,000 which he failed to double.

When Patricia demanded the return of her money, instead of complying, the healer arranged for the hitmen to eliminate both mother and daughter. According to a neighbour and close family friend, who spoke on the condition of anonymity, the pair went missing on Thursday after receiving a call from the healer, instructing them to collect their money.

The family friend revealed that Jeza inherited a sum of money from her deceased husband. The inyanga convinced her to entrust him with the funds, promising to double the amount using his supposed supernatural powers. However, as months passed without any communication from the inyanga, Patricia grew impatient and began demanding her money back.

Finally, when the inyanga contacted her, Jeza felt a sense of relief, believing that she would finally receive her money back. Little did she know that she and her daughter were walking into a death trap.

Concern arose among their family when they couldn’t reach Patricia and her daughter by phone. Tragically, their mutilated bodies were later discovered dumped at Emachobeni in Inanda on Friday afternoon. Fortunately, the daughter had posted on her WhatsApp status that they were going to meet the inyanga, which proved crucial in aiding the police investigation.

Shootout and Arrest

Confirming the incident, KZN police spokesperson Colonel Robert Netshiunda revealed that authorities had received intelligence suggesting the suspects were en route to perform cleansing rituals at Mpophomeni following the gruesome murders.

The suspects’ vehicle was intercepted in the Eskebheni area of uMzinyathi, and the police signalled for the driver to stop. In response, the occupants of the vehicle opened fire on the officers. The police, well-prepared for such a scenario, retaliated with gunfire. As a result of the shootout, all four occupants of the vehicle were shot dead. Upon searching the vehicle, the police discovered three firearms in their possession.

The inyanga was promptly arrested and appeared in the Durban Magistrates Court the following day. However, his case was adjourned to a later date, and he was remanded in custody.
