Kaizer chiefs defender has started training with Swallows after completing his move

According to knowledgeable sources from Siya, Swallows is welcoming a Kaizer Chiefs player to their training facility this week.



Following the decision of Dube Birds to unload Njabulo Ngcobo for Amakhosi in a transaction that is thought to include cash plus players, Yagan Sasman is to move in the opposite direction ahead of the next season.



Siya sources informed the crew of the agreement, which the left-footed defender is likely to report on Tuesday in Swallows.

Six days ago, after Chiefs’ defeat against Al Ahly at the CAF Champions League finale in Morocco the Siya team broke news from Sasman’s imminent move to Swallows where the player was an unused substitute for coach Stuart Baxter.



He was liked to have a likely transition to the Dube Birds along with Philani Zulu and Dumisani Zuma – and now he has decided to make loans.

During the period of Ernst Middendorp at Naturena, 24-year-old defender joined Amakhosi and still has a contract until June 2022.



It is indicated that he will spend a season on the loan and then return to the chiefs, who will examine the future of Baxter, before the club may extend its existing deal.

Before the 2021/22 season, swallows still could land a couple Glamour Boys to support coach Brandon Truter.
