Wednesday, 6 May, is the day 45-year-old singer and songwriter, Josh Groban, will be presented with his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Groban’s is the 2,843rd star. He will receive the star in the category of Recording.

Alongside him at the ceremony will be Ben Schwartz, Josh Gad, and Walk of Fame inductee David Foster.

“The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce is proud to welcome singer Josh Groban to the Hollywood Walk of Fame,” stated Ana Martinez, Walk of Fame producer.

“Josh has this incredible way of connecting with people through his music—it really stays with you. It’s been amazing to watch his journey over the years, and we’re so happy to celebrate him today with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame,” added Martinez.

Groban broke onto the music scene as a teenager when he made an appearance in Ally McBeal and when he joined Celine Dion in rehearsal for the Grammys at the age of 17.

He has nine studio albums under his belt, with a tenth one, Cinematic, scheduled for release on Friday 8 May.
