- The Johannesburg Magistrates’ Court has reserved judgment on bail for Victor Majola, accused of orchestrating DJ Warras’ murder.
- The defence argues that video footage circulating online does not place Majola at the scene of the crime.
- The State maintains the charge is a Schedule 6 offence, placing the burden on the defence to prove exceptional circumstances for bail.
The man accused of orchestrating the murder of media personality Warrick “DJ Warras” Stock will remain behind bars while the Johannesburg Magistrates’ Court considers his bail application.
Victor Majola has spent nearly a week appearing in court in a bid to secure bail after being arrested for allegedly ordering Stock’s assassination.
His legal team argues that the evidence presented does not place Majola at the crime scene, citing third-party video footage circulating on social media.
However, the State insists that Majola faces a Schedule 6 offence, including premeditated murder, and that it is the defence’s responsibility to prove exceptional circumstances for bail.
Magistrate Annalise Tlhapi has reserved judgment, while prosecutors maintain that the video shown in court differs from footage in police possession.
Stock was shot and killed outside Zambesi House on Tuesday afternoon, 16 December 2025.
