Biri Marung hitmaker Tebogo G Mashego has shared a chilling account of what he claims was an attempted human trafficking incident in Sandton, Johannesburg, leaving fans shocked and sparking widespread discussion online.
The musician recounted the alleged ordeal during an Instagram Live session, where he urged South Africans to remain vigilant and trust their instincts when something feels wrong.

Narrating the story during his social media live, Tebogo alleged that a man had contacted him via Instagram’s Direct Message, claiming to sell iPhones.
According to the musician, the two arranged to meet in Sandton before travelling together to a venue the man identified as Propaganda, which he described as a club.
Tebogo alleged that while they were on their way to the venue, they were followed by another vehicle carrying three white men. He said he became suspicious and questioned why the car appeared to be following them.
When they arrived at the destination, Tebogo claimed he immediately realised it was not a nightclub as he had been led to believe. He said he questioned the man he was with, who allegedly told him not to worry before asking him to organise young girls.
Tebogo further alleged that there were about nine young women at the location whom he believed had been trafficked. He said he immediately refused to be part of what was happening and decided to remove himself from the situation.

Urging South Africans to stay alert
The musician said the experience left him shaken and encouraged others to be cautious when meeting strangers, even if the interaction begins on social media.
He stressed the importance of trusting your instincts if something feels wrong and leaving any situation that raises red flags.
