Deli Malinga returns on screens with a role on ‘Amanzi Endlini’

Veteran South African actress Deli Malinga is making her return to television with a new role on the upcoming production Amanzi Endlini.

Known for her powerful performances on Umkhokha: The Curse, Deli’s return has been welcomed by fans who have praised her consistency and screen presence over the years. The actress is set to bring depth and emotional intensity to the new storyline, though details about her character remain under wraps.

The actress recently took to her Instagram page, to share the trailer of the new series.

Social media reactions have been largely positive, with viewers expressing excitement at seeing her back on screen and anticipating her performance in the new role.

Amanzi Endlini, produced by Ngomoya Films production, is set in the world of a traditionally married couple exploring the option of surrogacy. Their decision brings complications and distrust into their relationship. Will they secure their legacy, or have they invited in a force that could destroy them both?

The three-part mini series is expected to explore layered family and community narratives, with Deli’s casting adding star power and experience to the production. Her return marks another notable comeback for seasoned actors continuing to shape South Africa’s evolving television landscape. She will be playing alongside Nkanyiso Makhanya and Keke Mphuthi among others.

The three-part mini series is expected to premiere on May 25 at 7pm, on Mzansi Magic.
