Three More Accused Added to Fraud Case Against Peet Viljoen
Three additional accused have been added to the fraud case against disbarred attorney Peet Viljoen, with proceedings now under way in the Pretoria Specialised Commercial Crimes Court.
This follows the dismissal of Viljoen’s bail appeal.
Viljoen faces close to 400 charges (fraud, theft, forgery, uttering and corruption) linked to the alleged unlawful sale of roughly 46 Johannesburg Property Company properties worth about R27 million in 2010.
He was arrested in June 2026 after being deported from the United States.
