Kaizer Chiefs forward Khama Billiat and Orlando Pirates defender Olisa Ndah are among 12 players ruled out of contention for DStv Premiership action this week.
Billiat, 31, will be a huge miss for Amakhosi when they take on TS Galaxy on Tuesday evening, with the Zimbabwe international suspended for the encounter.
He’s been instrumental in Chiefs’ challenge with Royal AM for the second-place spot, scoring six goals and setting up eight assists in 19 league outings in the 2021/22 campaign thus far.
Alongside Keagan Dolly and Bernard Parker, they’ve been ever-present figures in Stuart Baxter’s starting eleven and with Galaxy looking to gain points to stave off relegation concerns, Billiat will be a huge miss.
The Rockets beat Chiefs in the Nedbank Cup earlier this year and will be weary as revenge will be on the cards for the Soweto giants – but they have two suspensions to deal with themselves – Sead Ramovic will miss Marks Munyai and Sihle Nduli for the showdown at FNB Stadium this evening.
