Red Devils coach Pitso Mosimane left many people guessing what player he meant when he announced he was going to sign a local player shortly.

Al Ahly legend Ahmed Shobier provided the identity of South African Red Devils players that want to sign before the new season.

Red Devils coach Pitso Mosimane left a lot of people guessing what player he was talking to when he announced he signed a local player soon.

This was revealed by the former Bafana Bafana coach during an interview with SAfm last Friday.

“It’s going to be a player from South Africa. This isn’t Lorch or Sirino, but the player is going to come. “He isn’t from my prior squad since I don’t want to touch them because they’re taking me to court,” Mosimane added.

Shobier has now stated that Al Ahly is negotiating with the Kaizer Chefs about Nkosingiphile Ngcobo, underlining that he is not the only player with which the Reds are now talking.

“The South African player Mosimane talked about is Ngcobo, the winger of the Kaizer Chiefs, and he is not the only player with whom Al Ahly talks,” Shobier quoted from Kinfut.

The product of the Kaizer Chiefs Youth Academy, Ngcobo, may play across the line that started in the CAF Champions League Finals versus Al Ahly.

THE 21-year-old scored four goals in 44 Amakhosi matches.

Meanwhile, Teboho Mokoena would rather join chiefs rather than Mamelodi Sundowns, if he is to leave SuperSport United for a local team. He’s not Mamelodi Sundowns.

Mokoena is one of the players expected to be sold before the start of the new season to Matsatsantsa a Pitori. SuperSport has been said to have held talks with potential local buyers in the hope that after the Olympics it will draw interest in the outside world.

However, Phakaaathi learned that if an abroad offer is not available, Mokoena would rather join Chiefs rather than Sundowns locally.
