Lungelo Saule, the stepson of Uthando Nes’thembu‘s Musa Mseleku, posted a sweet and touching Mother’s Day tribute to his late mother, Sindy Gloria Saule, affectionately called MaSaule.

At the time of her passing, MaSaule, who was close to MaKhumalo, was married to Musa. It was also mentioned on the show that she sadly lost her life in a car accident.

In a short yet sincere Mother’s Day message on his Instagram Stories, Lungelo described his late mother as “wise, compassionate, and stubborn.”

He added, “I chose not to lose my mom and instead to gain an angel. In my mind, my heart, and my life, she’s still completely present to this day. Happy Heavenly Mother’s Day.”

During the festive season in 2025, Lungelo dedicated some time to visit his mother’s grave. He revealed that he dreaded the visit for a while but eventually mustered the strength to go.

LUNGELO GRADUATES FROM THE UNIVERSITY OF KWAZULU-NATAL

Lungelo dedicated his 2026 graduation to his grandmother, whom he regards as his parental figure since both of his parents have passed on.

“Dear Grandma, I wanted to take a moment to express my deepest gratitude. You filled a space in my heart and my life that no one else could, acting as my mother, my father, and my mentor,” he wrote.

Like many students, his academic journey wasn’t an easy one; however, his faith kept him going until he reached the finish line.

“As I stand here graduating, I recognise that I didn’t walk this path alone. I hold on to Psalm 68:5, which declares God as a Father to the fatherless,” he wrote.

The graduation season is upon us, and many of our favourite celebrities recently marked this profound occasion.

On 7 May 2026, reality TV personality Amahle Biyela and former Isibaya actress Amina Jack celebrated their graduations from the renowned University of KwaZulu-Natal.

Amina bagged a Bachelor of Social Science Honours in Psychology after a challenging academic journey in which she juggled her acting career and studies.

However, she pulled through after tapping into the counselling services provided by the Student Services Division at the university.
