The Premier Soccer League (PSL) has expressed its deep sorrow following the passing of three distinguished figures in recent days.

Former South African Minister of Defence Mosiuoa ‘Terror’ Lekota, as well as two passionate football supporters, Charles “Makhalanjalo” Fantisi and Luyanda “Usuthu Queen” Mbuyazi all tragically died this month.

Honour their memory

The PSL extended its heartfelt condolences to the families, friends, and loved ones of the departed during this difficult time.

To honour their memory, a moment of silence will be observed at all fixtures taking place this weekend across the Betway Premiership, the Motsepe Foundation Championship, and the DStv Diski Challenge.

The league joins the football community and the nation in mourning their loss and pays tribute to their contributions and passion for the beautiful game.

May their souls rest in peace.
