“They must be in excuted” – Anele Mdoda reacts to killing of e-hailing driver Isaac in Pretoria

South African media personality Anele Mdoda has strongly condemned the killing of 23-year-old e-hailing driver Isaac David Satlat.

The Nigerian national was allegedly strangled to death by his passengers during a Bolt trip in Pretoria West on 11 February 2026, in a case that has sparked outrage on social media.

Taking to X, Anele expressed her anger over the incident and called for justice for the young man.

“No they deserve to die I’m sorry but they don’t belong on earth. Why kill him? Why? No they must be in executed,” she wrote.

Her comments drew mixed reactions from social media users. While many supported her strong stance and echoed calls for justice, others criticised the tone of her remarks.

“They really took it far by killing him. They should have just robbed him. Can’t believe I’m even saying this but it’s better than murder,” one X user commented.

Another wrote, “But South African celebrities at times, Anele this sounds like selective outrage. We not saying what happened to the young man is good, but it happens daily to South Africans.”
