During an interview on the Not Sorry podcast, the outspoken Nota Baloyi claimed that it was his ex-wife, Berita Khumalo, who initiated a romantic relationship with him.

The former couple married in 2020 but finalised their divorce in 2024. Their spilt was anything but amicable, with both parties dragging each other through the mud on social media and interviews.

BERITA ALLEGEDLY MADE THE FIRST MOVE ON NOTA

This spicy revelation came after co-host Seemah asked, “Do you think you are what your ex-wife wanted?”

Nota replied: “She approached me, she came to me and justified it by saying, ‘You know, that’s what Tina Turner did.”

When asked whether he liked her, Nota admitted that he was not initially attracted to Berita, saying:

“I didn’t feel an attraction initially because we met many times before, like in studio sessions [and] lots of places.”

He also said he was impressed by her confidence, adding: “That is some serious game”.

NOTA’S NEW FLAME

Upon hard-launching his new girlfriend, Thandolwethu Ndlangamandla, on social media, netizens couldn’t help but compare her to Nota’s ex-wife, Berita, suggesting the two women bear a striking resemblance.

Whether through their loved-up photos or appearances on YouTube, the couple seemingly enjoys spending time together.

In the same interview on the Not Sorry podcast, Nota was asked whether he relates to Thandolwethu, despite their 15-year age gap.

In response, he said: “Of course! She’s smart. She’s smart like me. She holds a conversation. She’s able to go toe to toe with me.”
