Kaizer Chiefs head coach Arthur Zwane has confirmed that Dillan Solomons is back in contention to face Sekhukhune United on Sunday.
Amakhosi face Brandon Truter’s man in a must-win clash at Peter Mokhaba Stadium at 15:00.
Chiefs enter the game in fourth place, five points behind rivals Orlando Pirates in second place – meaning only three points will keep their hopes of finishing in second place alive.
While the Glamour Boys will be without suspended duo S’fiso Hlanti and Siyethemba Sithole, Solomons returns to the squad.
“We welcome Dillan Solomons back into the team, because S’fiso Hlanti is out,” Zwane told the club’s media team.
“We are looking for different combinations to make sure we get it right.
Zwane also added that his team is aware of the situation, knowing they need three points to close the gap to Pirates, who collected three points against Cape Town City on Saturday.
“There’s no room for mistakes, more especially costly mistakes, but football is football,” he added.
“There is no player that goes onto the field and deliberately makes a mistake to cost the team games.
“What is key for us is to win these remaining games. If we concede a goal, we are going to have to score two or three.”
