Kaizer Chiefs head coach Arthur Zwane has confirmed that striker Ashley Du Preez will be sidelined “for some time”, while three other players are doubtful.
Amakhosi take on DStv Premiership leaders Richards Bay at the Moses Mabhida Stadium at 20:00 on Saturday.
The Glamour Boys enter the game on the back of a 4-0 drubbing by Mamelodi Sundowns, while Richards Bay has near-perfect start with seven points from their first three games.
Zwane has confirmed that his side will again have to make due without their new Nr. 9, Du Preez, while George Matlou, Siyethemba Sithebe and Khama Billiat are doubtful for their trip to Durban.
“We’ll still going to miss Ashley who is going to be out for some time,” he said during the club’s media day.

“George is doubtful as well. It is these two players and other players like Sithebe, they are a little bit tight, because if you remember Sithebe was out for some time, not playing competitive football.
“When we brought him [in] he had to play about three games in 10 days, and we expected that. That is why I had to substitute him, because I was thinking that if we are to keep him on the field we are risking injuries and we’ll need him for this game. But hopefully, he’ll be fine.
“Khama has got a bout of flu, we don’t know whether he is going to be available or not. We’ll see how he responds between today and tomorrow.”
