Lionel Messi picked up several individual awards after guiding Argentina to their third FIFA World Cup title.
The Albiceleste beat France in Sunday’s final, with Messi capping a superb tournament to lift his first ever Jules Rimet trophy.
It was a final of the ages, with six goals scored between the two sides, two by Messi, one by Di Maria and three by Kylian Mbappe.
Mbappe finished on eight goals in the tournament, winning the Golden Boot.
Messi, meanwhile, picked up the Golden Ball for the Player of the Tournament after another Man of the Match performance in the final – his fifth at this year’s tournament, which is a new record for an edition of the World Cup.
